Hi, and thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me.
I’m Ledly Jennings, an estate planning attorney based in Arkansas and the owner of L. Jennings Law. My work focuses on helping families and business owners think clearly about wealth, responsibility, and the long-term impact their decisions will have on the next generation.
Estate planning isn’t just about documents. It’s about making sure the people you love are protected and prepared.
My Story
I earned my bachelor’s in business from Southern Arkansas University and then I earned my MBA and law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2016. Early in my career, I noticed something troubling.
Most estate plans don’t fail because the documents were drafted incorrectly. They fail because the planning around them never happens.
The attorney drafts a will.
The CPA files tax returns.
The financial advisor manages investments.
But too often, those professionals never coordinate.
The result is a plan that looks good on paper but doesn’t work the way the family expected.
That realization shaped how I built my practice. Today my focus is helping families bring the important pieces of their financial life into alignment — legal planning, tax awareness, asset protection, and long-term stewardship.
Work
My core practice is estate planning and generational wealth planning for families and business owners.
That includes helping clients:
• Protect their families through thoughtful estate plans
• Prepare for incapacity and long-term care
• Transfer businesses and assets across generations
• Reduce taxes and avoid unnecessary legal complications
• Create structures that help families steward wealth wisely
Over time, I’ve developed a strong interest in the intersection between estate planning, tax strategy, and long-term financial planning. Many of the families I work with want more coordination between these areas, and that’s something I spend a great deal of time studying and building toward in my practice.
My goal is simple: help families make wise decisions today that will still be working decades from now.
Personal Life
My faith and Christian worldview shape everything I do. I believe that sound stewardship of assets isn’t just good planning. It’s a spiritual calling. I see business and faith as integrated, not separate. We have a purpose on this earth to steward our assets well and to make disciples and witness through how we live and work.
I’m passionate about helping families look at their finances and their business through a Christian worldview. It’s not just about optimization or tax avoidance. It’s about alignment with your values and purpose. That’s why I integrate faith-based principles into every financial decision I help families make.
